I'am in the mission where I've got to paint the flag ship.
Now the problem is: I can't control the paint droid with the rem protocol. I always get an error: invalid rem protocol.
can somebody help me?

Make sure you actually have the drone targetted before pressing shift-R to remote link. When you've established the link make sure you then press the "u" key to undock the drone from your ship.
