FireCon Sensors

I think this has been asked before but since I cannot find the previous topic I'll ask it again.
What are those FireCon Sensors you can buy... I can't install them anywere tho they belong to the equipment catagory..?

Originally they may have been designed as equipment, but in the final game they only made it into the freight category.






There is no safe distance

They are sensors that allow you to 'target ahead' of an opponent, everyone was given that abilty anyway so it ended up being a peice of cargo that one can trade with. it is not worth it IMO.
