Act 3 Mission 10 - Into Chaos

The aliens have broken through into the Formalhault system. They are heading towards the jump accelerator. If that happened then the alien infection would spread into the Badlands cluster. As a desperate attempt to get the remaining refugees out of the system and put some distance between the aliens, a plan is formed to use your base as a giant magnet for the aliens and then detonate it. The hope is to create a big enough diversion for the remaining mega-freighters to escape.

1) Upon launch from the base, Jafs is laden with antimatter bombs and sets off to lay them around Lucrecia's Base, he asks you to make sure no aliens get close.

2) As Jafs lays the bombs, it is up to you to take out any incoming aliens. You need to use antimatter weapons to destroy the aliens. Make sure you don't stray too far away from the base and into the alien clouds; this will infect you and destroy you. The mission fails if either you or Jafs becomes infected.

3) Once all the bombs are in place, a cut scene shows the base detonate and take out a load of the aliens. After this, Jafs will head for the last mega-transporter leaving the system.

4) As Jafs is leaving, Caleb Maas will turn up in an infected ship with some escorts. He's decided to leave the system, its up to you to stop him; no infected ships must leave through the jump accelerator. Shoot his Cruiser and destroy his wingmen and he will launch a corvette and head for the L-point.

5) The end cut scene will play.
